Knapps Copse

Description

This iconic copse is located a couple of miles north of Sprytown, just before the new A30. Known to many locals as the ‘nearly home trees’. Sketched from the back lanes looping around the copse, you get a feel for how big, and how numerous, the trees really are. This is one of my favourite locations to visit with my students, it a challenge to get the proportions right and make sure you can fit it all in.
